Light Optical Works private limited company established as a binocular maker in Suwa-shi, Nagano-ken with the capital fund of JPY300,000.
Increased the capital fund to JPY1,400,000.
Along with the development of the business, the new head office/factory was built in Minami-sawa. Production of riflescopes started.
Trough the change of organization, Light Optical Works, Ltd was formed.

Increased the capital fund to JPY4,500,000. Production of microscopes started

Recognized from Secretary of State for Trade and Industry as a cotribution company for export and then received continuous recognition for every year.
New factory was built in Nakasu, Suwa-shi to try the progress of rationalization by accommodating the expansion of the producton scale. New machining factory was built in the first-term construction.
With the capital fund of JPY10,000,000., Iida Light, Ltd. was established and lens processing and assembly factory was built in Iida-shi, Nagano-ken.
Honored by a factory visit of Prince Takamatsunomiya Nobuhito and Their Royal Highnesses Kikuko.
President Keitomi Iwanami ( at the time) was decorated with The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays in recognition of our service to the industry ( trade promotion).
President Shohachi Iwanami( at the time) assumed the position of the chairman of Suwa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Commemorative event for 50th anniversary of establishment
Light Optical Works, Ltd was chosen as one of the 300 vital small and medium manufacturing company in Japan by Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Light Optical Works, Ltd. received award from Minister of Economy Mr. Amari.
